The forum is a better place with more photos and nothing explains the problem you are having with the doofa on the whatchamacallit better than a decent photo.
I think the best way to get photos on the forum is to use a photo hosting site like photobucket. Go to this site:
http://register.photobucket.com/
Make up a username and password and fill in a few details. It's free, they don't send any spam or cause you any hassle. I have two accounts and have never had any problems. They make their money from the advertising at the side of the page which I always ignore.
Once you have done that you can start putting photos into your albums. Click "chose files" at the top select your photos and wait a short while as they are sent. You can then copy the "img" link (a small line of text) shown at the bottom of each photo and paste it into your message. As these photos are on the net it means that when you put a link to them on the forum they will display reliably. I find it a brilliant system because if you want to show photos to someone you just send them a small link in an email instead of massive photo files.
If you sell on ebay this is a great bonus as well because you can put any number of photos and videos in an advert without paying ebay a penny.
Have a go and if you have any problems let me know. It looks complicated at first but it doesn't take long to learn.

Re: Posting photos using Photobucket
Since this post was made Photobucket decided to destroy their business and at the same time kill off loads of online content with their ridiculous change to their hosting charges. We no longer recommend that you go anywhere near Photobucket for hosting but the principles for getting pictures on the forum remain the same, just use a different host like Flickr etc
