Hi Guys
I've not been keeping the map up to date of late, so am in the process of transferring it to a new "owner" (Zoltan). Hopefully we can do that without losing all the embedded data and then your pins will be added on.

Good work Colin - the organisation is really gathering pace now so you've joined at an exciting time.
Hopefully there'll be some deployments this winter!

I'm also lurking around, coudn't make the Southern meet due to work which has sucked up an awful lot of time over the past few months. Oh, and biking during the nice weather and now 4x4 Response is kicking in for the winter months.

I hope you didn't offer the farmer too much dough for it. Cheeky sod - you must be wondering how he could "forget" that the engine and gearbox had been removed.

Can you remind me of the difference between the Hunter and Patriot? Is one the new 469 and the other the new 452?

Strangely the app is only letting me join the forum, not sign in to my existing account. Confused.com!

A deafening silence! You might just have to buy one then subject it to a thorough test and review process, so anyone else thinking of getting one knows what they're in for. They are tempting...

I have absolutely no idea, I'm afraid. Does Steam work ok for you? Actually, you could always try the tech demo first, which you can download from Spintires.com.

Re: Virtual truck driver
I've bought this game and it really is £20 well spent. The graphics are brilliant and mud plugging really well modelled, so I'm currently stuck with the big 8x8 recovery truck in a nasty hole that has defied repeated attempts at getting the thing out.
Download it from Steam.

Welcome Max (officially!) to the forum. As a first car? Mine was a 1973 Land Rover (although I'd have had a Uaz had I known about them then) so you are not completely mad...just a little bit :ban Sounds great, ideal for the hilly bits round there if we get any snow this winter. You'll love it! When ...

I don't suppose it matters what you are in as long as you can tackle the terrain safely. Most of SPTA is scrub but there's some dirty great holes dotted about dug by a Challenger 2 which you really *don't* want to drive into in a 4x4 (don't ask how I know this). It can get extremely soggy up there a...
