Welcome Max (officially!) to the forum.

As a first car? Mine was a 1973 Land Rover (although I'd have had a Uaz had I known about them then) so you are not completely mad...just a little bit :ban

Sounds great, ideal for the hilly bits round there if we get any snow this winter. You'll love it!

When is it arriving from Czech?

that's currently the problem
the company that was meant to bring it back last Friday is now fully busy till the end of September so me and my dad are looking around for any other means to bring it home (don't really want to drive it all the way home)

"All the way home" is not that far, depending on where in Czech it's located. It makes for a fun trip and you can iron out all the small problems on the way :D
