Are they all exactly the same cos I've only got one that's not on the car and it's cracked in half ... They are also unsure how much it's going to cost but wouldbe well happy with 5 pound

Question to people more mechanicaly minded than i am...
I just fitted a whole new breaks system on original parts but I noticed they are really hot after only about 10-15 miles... is that to be expected with new parts, should I wait for things to bed in or should I readjust... I can't fell any drag from them or nathong like that but was just wondering - it's more the back ones than the front ones... any suggestions welcome...

Rob Reznik wrote:certainly sounds like you may have a mix of brake fuid ? - Andrews Uaz Brakes very well but has the later servo fitted - maybe worth looking at? - I would change all brake cylinders - they are not expensive in Poland and change the master cylinder at the same time - flush out all the old fluid and fill up with Dot 4 - you can get the old shoes re lined here in England with modern material - if you have a problem let me know
Interestingly, the translated UAZ 469 manual says that the brake fluid is DOT-4/SAE1703F (TOMb, Poca, Poca-3, Poca Dot-4). So I presume the vehicles for export to Western countries had DOT-4 to begin with.

Brake flush here I come.
