To be fair he's doing really well for a two year old, he can steer and use the lights and wipers, he's even getting the hang of gear changes

Please excuse the smoke, she's running on a mixture of old engine oil and contaminated fuels

just tell him to concentrate on the loud pedal and he will do just fine :D [most kids that age have tonka toys not the real thing]got photos of me somewhere about that age hauling[probably very ineffectively] on the wheel of a bedford 3tonner,and some a bit older steering a dukw.

Nice one John. He'll be driving that as soon as he can reach the pedals. :)

Matthew or Brad? To be honest Paul, I wouldn't let them drive any kind of a car after I saw their parking skills show at Motodemont. ;)

Some photos here I forgot I had which were given to me by the previous owner, they show it working with a potato harvester, long before it got 'mutilated' and turned into a recovery vehicle :?

They're only baby trailers weight wise compared to the tank transporter trailers they usually pull, it's hard to imagine what it must be like to drive with those sorts of weights (60ton) behind it though, it's such a laborious business anyway getting up to speed without anything on tow :?

Yea, I like the look of the MTLB. How do you rate them? they have nice wide tracks which I imagine makes them fairly good on boggy ground? What are they like inside for room? Do you have any pic of yours you could post? - perhaps best to reply in the 'Tracked section'

I just spotted this which reminded me of the contraption on the back of your truck:

Wonder if you've got half a Matador or Scammel bolted to the back end of your Tatra?

 I don't know, but that looks fabricated later as is the one on the Tatra.

BTW - If anyone wants one mine will be removed from the truck shortly, if interested I can take measurements etc.
