Ex-Polish Field Kitchen in use today

Do you take the beast shopping? Or ferry the children to school? Can your truck be a practical, everyday vehicle?

Ex-Polish Field Kitchen in use today

Post by Umvoti » Sat May 12, 2012 8:37 pm

I spotted this ex-Polish Army field kitchen in use at the Wrexham Food Festival. The owner had brought it over from Poland and done some minor modifications such as the trailer hitch to fit his car and a new canopy. It can feed 250 soldiers one meal all from that kitchen. The data plate looked like it had a date of 1976.

It's been said before. There's one on Milweb at the moment but it's pricey: http://milweb.net/classifieds/large_ima ... 62156&cat=

I can keep an eye out on the tenders on AMW
Would quite fancy one hitched up to mine...
I remember in the old days my dad used to be able to 'sort' one out for the local parish for their summer camps and the priest got to keep it... Wish he was still in service

It would need more than sand blasting after we've run a few tons of curry through it =))
