UAZ indicators

Post by RangerNeil » Fri Sep 26, 2014 3:32 pm

Any one got photos of an actual UAZ indicator relay type PS-950 (http://www.russianspares.com/product.php?page_id=552) that is wired in and working with the brake light circuit by-passed as per UK legal requirements???

I think there should also be a plug in the left hand 3-pin socket as the power feed seems to come in via this. On mine it is missing and all the wiring diagrams seem to say that one of the other connections should link into the 8 pin connector on the right whilst the third goes to the dashboard warning light. This is mine as it stands now

These are the wiring connections to the large plug:

None of these line up with the wiring in any of the diagrams I have. :(

Thanks for the info. I found that the relay is designed to be used where the indicators and - I think - brake lights - are combined. I got them working OK - I had to fit the correct hazard warning light switch too. Only thing not working now are the side repeaters which appear to wired correctly but do not work. Maybe that site will provide the information I need there too. :)
