You don't have to join to get a bumper sticker - just go to http://zil131.spreadshirt.co.uk

:D

Proceeds go to running the site.

Hi all

The idea of creating a club is a great one, but how about us living abroad, seems most og you are in the UK. I would love to join (and pay for membership) if it makes me support a good club spirit. Perhaps something in the line of the landrover series 2 club, that one seems to have a lot of memebers all over the world.

OK, a quick guide to the new Merchandise Shop. This was setup to provide some fun products for us all to show our love for the forum and our Eastern Beasts, and in the process generate some funds to help with the running costs of the ZIL131.com site.

As of today there are 35 products available from bumper stickers, mens, ladies and kids clothing to mugs and badges. The best way to find what you want is by using the categories (Clothing, Bumper Stickers & Accessories). Please do send in your suggestions for new products that might be popular.

If anyone does want to have a crack at making some hot artwork for the shop products then please read the following guidelines for VECTOR artwork: http://www.spreadshirt.net/en/GB/Servic ... egoryId/46 and for BITMAP artwork: http://www.spreadshirt.net/en/GB/Servic ... egoryId/45. At the moment as it's a new shop it's limited to 3 vector designs until we've sold 10 items, then we get 5 more. Not sure if there is a limit on the bitmap ones, but there is no limit on just text, so send in your slogans.

Once we unlock the extra designs I'll organise polls on any new ones that I or anyone else creates. I'm in the process of getting a front-on Zil vector image included. In time I'll add a Ural and a GAZ.

Don't forget to send the link to your family and friends as ideas for Christmas and Birthdays!

My ZIL artwork has been approved and products are now available in the shop with it on - including a glow in the dark umbrella!! Ooooo!

I've also uploaded the Zil image to the Spreadshirt marketplace so anyone can make any product with that image on. Go to http://www.spreadshirt.co.uk/ and click on the T-Shirt designer. The Zil design is in the Designs category News & Politics/Miscellaneous (I couldn't see one that was more appropriate!). Note the Zil forum gets more money from the products in the shop rather than the ones you make yourself!

Yup, that's the plan. If you have any clear black and white line drawings of a GAZ (such as from a manual) can you point me at them? I'm at the limit of the number of vector designs we can have at the moment until we sell a few more. When that happens I'll draw up a GAZ, URAL and KRAZ and apply them to some products. Any particular products you'd like to see them on?

Cheers Sean, but we don't actually hold any stock to sell - it's all printed when you order it (Spreadshirt is the service, quite cool really).

Is there a problem with the shop? Only whenever I click on a link it takes me straight back to the forum pages - be it to add something or go to the next page.. I'm interested in the vehicles stickers for the doors.

How odd - I just tried again using FireFox - clicked on http://zil131.spreadshirt.net/en/GB/Shop/ and the page loaded OK.
Clicked on the "MEDIUM Soviet Vehicle CA Insignia" image - and it took me straight back to the "Online merchandise shop" thread in this board. ???
Went back to the shop page and this time clicked on the"Add to Basket" button - and it took me where I expected to go - the shopping basket.
Sadly though - this then told me the item was not currently available. :(

Will these be available again any time soon????

Also - clicking on the "Next page" or any of the page numbers at the bottom also takes me straight back to the "Online merchandise shop" thread in this board........

Unfortunately they've discontinued the stickers. Really sorry.

When I get a chance I'll see if I can find something to replace them with. Apologies again.
