RUSSIANMILITARY (Richard Moore)

Are they the best you've ever dealt with? Would you not touch them with a bargepole? Do they specialise in Russian trucks? Let everyone know here.

I reckon he must have had more hopeless and timewasting tyre kickers on his phone and email than most so I can sympathise somewhat. The bigger the tyres, the bigger the tyre kickers!

Richard Moore has another Gaz 66 for sale, told me he would only ever have one more after I bought mine late last year.

Found mine had a rotted off exhaust tail pipe, ( I should have noticed this when I looked underneath it before buying !!) he should have replaced the pipe though in his overhaul, he promised to send a replacement section and set of contact points months ago, despite a reminder, still not received. Told mine had electronic ignition, it hadn't, so anyone who thinks they have ought to check.

Speaking of Mr. Moore, I have been trying to get in touch with him regarding two OT90's I purchased from a Canadian buyer who gave up trying to collect them and no longer had use for them. I am considering a trip across to Cambridgeshire and a visit to Mr. Moore. Any off-board suggestions would be very gratefully accepted.

Cheers,
