Too right.

Just did the maths and including fuel it will be £530 before food and beer for me to get in this year.
And that’s with relatively small / economical (?) vehicles compared to some.

Genuinely think this could be the death of the show.
Having grown up with it, it’s quite sad really

Well over a week of fun and adventure which has been lacking during the covid thing. I think its still worth doing, I spend £20 a day on fuel getting to work and back, I would rather spend it on a holiday in the Gaz 66 :)

True, I will still be going as I got ticket for the postponed 2020 show... But TBH without that, I'm not sure I would do?? I mean £125 plus the £500 in fuel and then my alcohol, burger and pizza van survival would too much... I mean as you say a holiday yes... But a show, not really anymore =))
What's the price for all inclusive I wonder :ban

Yeah it’s a shame that it’s driving a lot of people away. I’d love to go but most of our group have ruled it out so not hugely worth it for me now.
I would pay it to have a good time for sure, but with so many not going it doesn’t seem worthwhile 😕

Not sure about going myself. With 125 entry fee we get two persons and a vehicle for the duration of the show. Strangely it looks like a good value compared to £25 per person for a day visit.
Who is going or not going from our corner?
Cyclists!

Hi Zbig,

None of us are going sadly.
Me, Paul, Alf, Lou, Digby etc…

We’re planning on meeting up at Evesham for a board meeting but can’t see us changing our minds.
We’re heading to Szczecinek in August to go to Borne Sulinowo though 👍🏼

That's the end of that then anyway.
Cancelled as of 25/05/2022 for this year.

Hears hoping there is a change in management over the next 12 months so we can all get together once again next year.

:( tbh I am surprised, especially after having spoken with John at the weekend.

But anyway, onwards and forwards (as we cannot find reverse). To the original question, alternatives? Have a group meet in place of it??

Wagtails sounds good to me if I can make it. I’ll either be there or I’ll be cutting the floor out the Uaz and welding a new one in 😊

Undecided about W&P but am keen for any other forum meet - Ive never done Wagtails so would be up for that or any other meet as yet unknown. Eventually got my Gaz to work so am keen to use it.
