Final Definite State Your Preferences Now!
Ok, after lots of "shall we/shan't we" type threads/ideas/questions it is time to vote democratically for a date or some dates when you can make it to Wagtails this year for a 2011 forum meet. The poll will run for a week or so then a decision will be made either to go ahead and book the site or bin the idea until the New Year.
You can vote for as many dates as you like and change your vote so that a key winner can hopefully be found.
Please put your thoughts and preferences in the thread as well.
All dates are dependent on the site being free and the owner willing to lend to us again so that would be the next step but without knowing what is wanted he has not yet been contacted.
Let the voting commence!
As stated below, this year's Autumn meet at Wagtails is cancelled but there is always the Spring and if you do hook up with other members at another site we want to see the photos!

Be nice to do something before the end of the year. I won't be able to get to Crich this year after all, so would be only tentative for the 22/23 of October.
Best wishes, Colin

Well, the BRDM-2 is back up and running after the last forum meet and as I commute past wagtails every day I can't really refuse any of those dates; so count me in!

Time marches on, given that we have no clear favourite on dates and not very many people definite to be coming we have decided to shelve the Autumn meet
There is a fair bit of outlay to book the site and sort the catering and it would be a risk to go ahead and book the site and have only a couple of people turn up.
Sorry for those of you who were looking forward to this

That's a shame. Not that I would have attended as I'm not back in the UK until end of November anyway and probably won't have a vehicle registered and ready until next year.
How about a meet at "Chez Paul" - he has so many vehicles you wouldn't need to bring your own ;)

I know rob, I was looking forward to another cold night in the back of a land rover! But with work or 4x4 response stuff taking up my weekends between now and xmas I couldn't do much, nor could Karl or colin. Perhaps do it in the early new year?

Beattock summit it is then
Pro's: Free, good terrain, easy access, nice camping, it's really close to me ,the midges should be gone and the weather can be really nice if it isn't snowing or raining and blowing a gale.
Con's: It's at the other end of the world from most of you lot!!

Sorry but I dropped off the map for a few weeks due to house move.
Yes early in the new year would be good. When I say 'early' I mean post Feb as it's a bit chilly brrr before March
