Silly question, is that the correct side for the axe to be? On my GAZ, my axe and fittings are on the left side (drivers side), could have been swapped over at some point. Thx

Good question. My gas is from the 1968 and ax is the right side

Are these the ones that are for sale on Allegro? I contacted the seller. The price including shipping to Holland was € 140,- for a full set. So 2 brackets for the back, 2 brackets for the backside of the passenger seat and 5 leather straps.

Exactly so, but I bought only the rear.

Well I look at it this way: someone has taken the effort to reproduce a very rare set of accessories and make it available to the public. The investment to have these parts reproduced must be substantial with dies having to be designed and made. A Dutch saying is 'expensive is better than not available at all'.

With new parts coming onto the market we can complete our vehicles and enjoy the search for new items.
