Zil update

Post by HybridMark » Mon Mar 12, 2018 9:58 pm

Not posted anything for ages as I couldn't log in and couldn't get a password reset, but now all is pink and fluffy.
Anyway we went to a local steam fair in june then Harewood House steam fair in september and East Kirkby aviation museum
firework display in november. Booked in for yorkshire country fair and Whitby steam fair so far this year.

Great pics. Looks at home in snow. I'll look up Yorkshire Country show and maybe see you there.

Kevin, the G388 tyres are not original fitting cannot be used with the CTIS and make for a very hard ride in my experience...the stndard stomil tyres are noisy but as long as you use the ctis before you set of and whilst you are running, keeping them at 3 bar all the time you can erradicate most of the vibration...however if you spend most of your time on road then standard road tyres 12.00 x 20 will fit...just note that modern tyres are not designed to be run with reduced tyre pressures so the CTIS cannot be used...

the G388 come up at withams a lot but if you keep your eyes open they come up on milweb, ebay and other such places...

the g388 are also totally crap on anything other than flat ground providing virtually no off road performance whatsoever...
