Just thinking.....The two batteries that came on my Ford Cargo 2420 in 1987 were still on it 8 years later when I sold it on?? But having said that, it was used almost every day for those 8 years barring most sundays....a real working truck.....paid for itself and bought houses.

Some good news, just been in touch with Tarmot.pl again......they say the UAZ Patriot Diesel that they have found is actually in Ulyanovsk...and is in very good condition, never been in an accident, owned by a UAZ worker. They are getting more pics but it will take a month to ship it from Ulyanovsk ...
