so it needs to be sanded down and painted and small rust repair it needs an new engine since it has no engine , so it should not be so hard to finish and get it running as my daly driver here in iceland

well life is odd i just found three gaz 69 chassis one in good condition other needs fixing

Did I read somewhere that the 'Afghan Portal' axles had a limslip/Torsen diff??? but surely that would only be in the rear? They don't have any method of locking the differentials; There's Russian-made Torsen-type differentials made for UAZ, but I can't find any details of fitment or part numbers.
