Re: Uaz 452 Brake Booster

Thought about one, can fit one in tunnel behind grill, a remote in line one before it splits into front and rear axle supply's. I did find one, but never purchased it to fit it. Just got used to stamping on the pedal!

Re: Uaz 452 - "Project Loaf"

Good Stuff, keep it going. Its always handy to have something to hand to read to send me to sleep at times :D :D B-( The ballast resistor is handy when the mechanical fuel pump needs to crank over to get a cold supply of fuel to the Carb, keeps a good voltage at coil when battery drops off. Saying t...

We put 80/90 in Chris's gaz when he got it, few years later we dropped it and had a nice glitter flake in oil of the bronze parts in box possibly???? So we put in what id tried in my uaz, its a straight 90, and chris said it transformed his geard box!! https://www.exol-lubricants.com/products/automo...

Re: Unwinding Spare wheel from NBC box

Been a while since i dropped Chris's spare down, but im sure we took the clamps off, then take the weight and move the ratchet dog out the way and left it drop down. You can stick a socket on and wind it down, but slow.

Re: Steering Box Removal

There is a drain plug and a re fill plug in box some where!
Got my old one in the garage roof, many years ago i had mine out. Have a look through my old posts might fine a hint.

I think there is a big allen key needed to adjust the back lash on the outside also, with a lock washer set up of sorts.

Re: How to install a new fuel pump? UAZ 452

As Acmatman said, new pump will try and push away when fitting, you will be fighting against the spring on lever. But wiggle and push in and lever will locate on cam shaft.

I gave up and fitted a low pressure facet pump, fed up of changing rubber valves.
