Re: Broken Steering Clamps

Hello Zoltan,

this photo helps a lot. Obviously I can replace at least the broken part on my lower picture by the metal strap that is already there.

Thanks a lot, I will keep you updated about the solution.

Best regards

This is not yet critical, but since we have the appropriate parts available, we decided to solve the problem before we start our next trip. In order ...

Hi,

looks very nice. Do you have a chance to publish the complete article here? For the article about our GAZ we were allowed to put it to our blog four weeks after release of the magazine.

After the problems / delay we had last year with the overhaul of the engine of or GAZ 66 - caused by others than technical issues - we are planning a bigger holiday trip this summer through the Baltic states, St. Petersburg, Lake Ladoga and the southeastern part of Finland. Hi, According to the english translation of the Gaz 66 manual the engine preheater uses gasoline. There's a similar hearer for the habitation box but I don't know what that uses. Is that your engine heater you're using diesel with Marcus? we are currently only using the heater for the Kung Box, this...

Hi, I absolutely agree to what John says. This is how the control box looks in our GAZ 66: https://gaz66blog.files.wordpress.com/2016/04/wp_20160416_13_18_07_pro_a.jpg?w=600 You have to push one of the two switches that does not permanently switch the function on. This activates the heater plug unti...
